Requirement Development Skills

Defining functional and non-functional requirements takes skill since many customers often solution rather than clearly express their objective needs and what outcomes they wish to obtain.  Years of experience in market research and marketing have provided me with the tools and skills to understand what the need and outcomes are that may not be articulated clearly.

Hill-Rom SPORT bed

Market Research Manager for Critical care and Long term Care which grew rates over 24% and units in place more than 78%.

Created consumer advisory boards that provided input into new product development teams.

Recruited industry thought leaders in critical care from across the nation and hosted off site multi-day advisory sessions with staff. 

 

Outcome results included new business ideas and products that generated over $130m in their first year.

Selected as core team member for European Kaizen event held in England and included representatives from Belgium, France, Italy, Germany.  Event objective was to improve customer satisfaction and sales within those territories.  Interviews with customers and brainstorming events were held.

Strategic Planning and Research

Designed and conducted quantitative and qualitative research for critical care and long term care business units.

Provided input to executives for the business plan and strategic framework.

Generated company quarterly market audit which measured customer satisfaction and market share

Created and maintained the TQM house of quality for new product development for multiple product lines.

Business Analyst Consultant for a large and quickly growing Health insurance company responsible for several consumer based secure portals (member, provider, employer, and agent portals)

Identified MVP and prioritized new features and defects and created product roadmaps.
